Makes perfect sense, had a couple of fleeting encounters with the "non-bear" around New Army Pass when camping during the late 80s and early 90s. I am a fast hiker and would get way out in front of the group, sometimes an hour or more and twice got stalked by something....flashes of black and then reddish brown moving through the trees. Creeped me out waiting for my friends to catch up. Never got a look at what I am assuming were sasquatch and didn't smell anything or hear vocalizations (no Sierra Sounds)....which means I might have been on the menu.
J.C. if you would like to know what these creatures really are and possibly even to interact with them, then please advise! I will tell you my story!!!
