This happened in the fall of 2010 or 2011, I honestly can't remember which. It was bow season and a buddy of mine from work asked me if I wanted to come hunt on some property that was close to his father's house. it was in an area that's very wooded and mountainous but actually not too terribly far from a populated area. There had been roads cut in for a subdivision years before, but no homes had ever been built. It was on Elsberry Mountain Road in Dallas Georgia and all we pretty much had to do was drive down this road and park our trucks in the cul-de-sac. The roads were surrounded on all sides by woods. He said that he had a spot picked out that he thought would be pretty good for me since I had never been there. We went out the night before so he could show me the area, since I would be showing up in the morning by myself.
