I have been an amateur sasquatch researcher for 10 years. I recently had an experience that I would like to share with you. My friends and I were camping on the Nooksack River. Our campsite is a 'freebie' meaning it is on the Federal Land in the Mount Baker National Forest. Our site was protected underneath the forest canopy, with the river bank approximately 20 feet away. We were having a 'bachelorette camping party' for our friend. Three of us arrived at the campsite at about 11:00 am on Friday, August 15th and set up the camp without incident. To tell you the truth, I was looking forward to a weekend with the girls. Two more girls arrived and set up their tents. The entire area was on a fire ban so we had to cook our dinner using the propane stove. We had a few drinks, but nothing substantial and we stayed up talking until about 11:00pm.
