Hunter has evening sighting near Bazile Creek State Wildlife Management Area witnessed in Knox County, Nebraska

I grew up in Center, Nebraska. In the late 80's I had an experience I will never forget! My bedroom window faced a grove of trees and our house was about 300 feet from the Bazile Creek. One summer night I had my window open and heard the snapping of tree branches. I thought it was my friends. I looked out the window and saw a HUGE being walking back into the trees from our yard. There was a streetlight close by so for about 4 seconds I saw this massive hairy beast in the light. This thing had to be 8 or 9 feet tall. At first I was confused about what I was looking at and then quickly terrified after it gave out a massive scream/howl.

That was about 35 years ago but I have NEVER forgotten the terrifying noise made by that creature. Growing up in a remote country setting I was familiar with all the noises wild animals made. This huge beast and the sound it made was completely foreign to me. The sound of hearing this big beast breaking tree branches as it moved through the cedars was also terrifying. I could hear branches at least an inch in diameter snapping. I am familiar with the sound of animals as big as deer moving through the woods but this thing wasn't just moving through the woods, it was forcing its way through the brush and it scared the hell out of me!

I have no logical explanation about what I saw and heard that night other than a bigfoot. Years later after the internet made researching things easy I realized other people who have recorded bigfoot calls were EXACTLY the same thing I heard that night.
