A fascinating Bigfoot encounter from Pike County, Missouri, was recently shared on the YouTube channel Sasquatch Theory. The video, titled "BIGFOOT ENCOUNTERS FROM PIKE COUNTY MISSOURI! IT JUMPED 6 FT INTO THE AIR FROM THE CREEK (THE MOMO)," features an interview with a gentleman named William who had several encounters with the Missouri Monster, or Momo, on his family's property. William's family has owned the property for several generations, and he was the first to build a house there. Growing up, he heard stories from his grandfather about "different things out there" that wouldn't hurt you if you didn't mess with them. His parents also had their own sightings of Momo, but never got many details. The first encounter William knew of on the property happened when he was a child. His older brother and his friends went camping on the farm and woke up in the middle of the night to find something had come into their camp. They were all huddled around a big campfire, scared out of their wits. William's parents told them it was Momo, and that was the story that stuck. Years later, when William was in college, he had his own encounter with Momo. He and a friend were coming up to the property to go camping when they saw a deer jump out of a cornfield and almost land on their Jeep. They continued on, but when they got to the campsite, William's friend stayed behind to set up camp while he went to get firewood. As he was driving along the creek, he saw something brown and hairy squatting down in the water. It turned its head and locked eyes with him, and William was frozen in fear. The creature then jumped up and took off on two feet, disappearing into the woods. William and his friend were shaken, but being young and curious, they grabbed their guns and went to track the creature. They found footprints in the sand and gravel along the creek, but as it was getting dark and they started feeling uneasy, they decided to leave. The next day, they returned to the site to try and get casts of the footprints, but a spring storm had come through and the creek had risen too much to find any evidence. This is just one of many intriguing Bigfoot encounters from Pike County, Missouri. If you're a Bigfoot believer, be sure to check out the full video on Sasquatch Theory's YouTube channel.
