Forest Service Inspector's Encounter with a Mysterious Bridge Behemoth

A fascinating account of a possible Bigfoot encounter has recently surfaced on YouTube, and it's a must-watch for all Squatchable readers. The video, posted by the YouTube channel Dr. Whisper, features a firsthand account of a bridge inspector who encountered something unusual in the Olympic Peninsula back in 1973. The witness, who had been working as a bridge inspector for the forest service for six years, was called out to inspect a timber bridge on an old logging road. Upon arriving, he noticed some unusual damage to the guardrails, with several of the heavy timber rails splintered and twisted outward. As he inspected the bridge, he noticed dark stains on the wood that looked like smudges or greasy marks, which he had never seen before. The witness then climbed down the steep bank to the creek bed to inspect the underside of the bridge and discovered a dam made of entire logs, broken branches, root wads, and two truck tires. The construction of the dam was unlike anything he had ever seen before, and he noted that it was definitely affecting the bridge's foundation. As he studied the dam, he heard a loud branch breaking behind him and noticed movement in the shadows beneath the bridge. He saw a massive dark shape, at least 7 or 8 feet tall, with reddish-orange eyes that had a deeper, more intelligent glow than a deer's eye shine. The witness slowly backed away, trying not to make any noise, and heard a low huffing noise from the creature. The witness was clearly shaken by the encounter and noted that the creature showed signs of intelligence, planning, and tool use that went beyond any known animal behavior. He also mentioned that he had heard other stories from loggers and forest service workers about strange structures found in remote areas and unexplained noises in the night.
