A recent video posted on the YouTube channel Pacific Northwest Bigfoot Search has caught the attention of the Bigfoot community. The video, titled "Three people missing in the same general area of Anchorage, Alaska (2015-2020)," discusses the mysterious disappearances of three individuals in the same area of Alaska over the course of five years. The first disappearance occurred in 2015, when Kevin Mitchell, a power plant Superintendent at Municipal Power, went missing after leaving his home without his wallet, ID, or cell phone. Mitchell's vehicle was later found near Glacier Creek Trail in the surrounding Wilderness, and despite extensive search and rescue efforts, no sign of Mitchell was ever found. In 2016, another man named Bradford Brooch disappeared in the same area. Brooch, an account manager for an Architecture Firm from Dallas Texas, was on vacation in Alaska and had gone for a hike at the Winter Creek Trailhead. Despite efforts to locate him, Brooch was never found. The third disappearance occurred in 2020, when 19-year-old Moren Kelly went missing while camping in the Scania County wilderness. Her disappearance is still under investigation. The video also touches on the topic of missing persons in rural and remote areas, and how the Pacific Northwest Missing Persons Project is working to map and document these cases. The project has added names from Alaska and Canada to their map and lists, and aims to eventually include all of North America's missing person cases involving people who have gone missing in rural and remote areas. As a Bigfoot enthusiast, it's hard not to wonder if these disappearances are connected to the elusive creature in some way. The video does not make any definitive claims, but it does serve as a reminder of the many unsolved mysteries that still exist in the world.
