A thrilling account of a close encounter with Sasquatch has been shared with us by the lead singer of the Minnesota-based heavy metal band, One Soul. The witness, who wishes to remain anonymous, recounts a harrowing experience from October 2017, when he and his uncle went deer hunting near New Albin, Iowa. As they were preparing to call it a night, they heard coyotes suddenly grow silent after a frenzy. Upon investigating, they discovered the mutilated bodies of 20 coyotes, with some guts hanging 30 feet above the ground. The pair heard tree knocks and noticed something large moving around. The witness described the creature as at least nine to ten feet tall, with broad shoulders and black hair, and a putrid smell that caused the hairs on the back of his neck to stand up from pure fear. The next morning, they returned to the site and found a full-grown cow torn open and dead, with huge bite marks. The head was found in a tree, which the witness admits could have been the work of a pack of coyotes, but the location of the head made them question this theory. They also noticed 18-inch footprints with a stride of five and a half feet apart. The witness recalls seeing the creature's glowing red eyes, which he describes as piercing his soul with fear. The experience has made him a believer in his family's folklore, which his late grandfather had passed down to his father, warning them never to go out in the woods at night or the Beast will get you. We encourage our readers to watch the full video and hear the witness's account in his own words. It's a chilling tale that reminds us of the power and mystery of the Sasquatch legend.
