In 1901, a lumberman named Mike King had a Bigfoot encounter near the Campbell River on Vancouver Island. His native American packers refused to accompany him due to their fear of the "monkey men" rumored to live in the forest. King described the creature as having reddish-brown hair, long arms, and a distinct human foot but with unusually long and spreading toes. Three years later, in 1904, the Daily British Colonist featured another Bigfoot story from four credible witnesses who saw a man-like creature on Vancouver Island. In 1907, the newspaper told the story of another encounter with the creature, which led to the abandonment of an Indian village due to the inhabitants being frightened away by a "monkey-like wild man" who appeared on the beach at night and howled in an unearthly fashion. The video encourages viewers to watch, like, and share "Bigfoot in the Forest" on various social media platforms.
