First Generation Ancient-Human Hybrid Discovered

Nature International Journal of Science recently published a study stating that for the first time a first generation ancient-human hybrid has been discovered. A genetic analysis of a bone fragment from the Denisova Cave in the Altai Mountains of Russia shows that a female who died 90,000 years ago was half Neanderthal and half Denisovan.
