Bigfoot Sighting in Broken Bow: A Personal Encounter and Local Legends

Recently, I stumbled upon a video from the YouTube channel Henrie Hull, where the vlogger shares her family's experience visiting this charming town. Broken Bow is located in McCurtain County, in the southeast corner of Oklahoma, and is nestled in the foothills of the Kiamichi Mountains. During her visit, Henrie and her family stayed in a rustic cabin, which brought back memories of their previous trips to the area when her kids were younger. One interesting piece of information Henrie shared was that Broken Bow is home to the Hocha Town community, where Charles Benton, a local legend and native of Hocha Town, claims to have had a Sasquatch encounter. Benton, who has also appeared on The Real Housewives of Dallas looking for Bigfoot, was turkey hunting when he saw something unusual in a creek. He described it as a large human-like creature, which made a loud, tremulous growl when it noticed him. The experience left such an impression on Benton that he now swears by it. While Henrie and her family didn't have any Sasquatch sightings during their trip, they did encounter several deer, which they affectionately named after the numbers on their tags. They also enjoyed visiting some of the local restaurants, such as Grateful Head and Girls Gone Wine, which Henrie highly recommends.
