A fascinating interview with one of the "Four Horsemen" of Sasquatch research, Peter Byrne, has recently surfaced on the YouTube channel Wild Thing by Laura Krantz. Byrne, who is now 93 years old, has been searching for Bigfoot since 1960 and is considered one of the last of the big Sasquatch hunters from that time. Born in Dublin, Ireland, Byrne's love for natural history and the outdoors began at a young age when his family moved to the Irish countryside. At the age of 18, he joined the British Air Force and served as an air rescue and air gunner on a Catalina sea plane in the Indian Ocean during World War II. After the war, Byrne returned to Ireland and then went back to India, where he spent four years working for a tea company before opening up a big game hunting company in Nepal for 20 years. During his time in Nepal, Byrne heard rumors about the yeti and became interested in the creature. He even ran a game concession for 20 years, where he offered trophy hunting for various animals, but never shot elephants or rhinoceroses, as they were protected animals in Asia. In the interview, Byrne shares his experiences and knowledge about Sasquatch research, as well as his thoughts on the existence of the creature. He also talks about his encounters with other Bigfoot researchers, such as Grover Krantz, John Green, and Rene Dahinden. This is a must-watch video for any Bigfoot enthusiast, as it offers a unique perspective from one of the pioneers in Sasquatch research.
