What left this large hair pile in Kentucky?

Man in Kentucky found large patch of hair along tree line. This is the area that had all those mysterious animal killings a couple of months ago. He said it looks like deer hair but it looks like it has been pulled out and the carcass is gone. Some people have theorized the killings were done by mountain lions, Dogman, or Bigfoot. Any thoughts?
