Tonight's Squatchable Halloween Countdown: Something wicked this way comes – curses Movie: The Conjuring – (Rated R) A witch curses her land and of course an oblivious family moves in. Available on Netflix History is riddled with stories about curses. Some are funny (sorry Cubs fans!) like the Curse of the Billy Goat but most involve some terrifying things happening to the cursed person. Some people believe the curse as it is uttered but other people say that the “cursed” is just attributing normal bad events to the curse. Let’s take a look at some famous curses and some you may not have heard of. Some of the most famous curses are the ones that are deadly. Here is a video of 15 well known curses that have been reported to kill people: Other times, a person is having a terrible string of bad events happening to them but they don’t die. Some people call them unlucky but others say it’s a curse: Curses have been put on people but also on objects.
