A researcher who has spent over a decade documenting what he believes are Sasquatch in a Wildlife Management Area recently went back through his footage and made a jaw-dropping discovery: there are far more of them hiding in his videos than he ever realized. Darryl Jones, who has been uploading content to YouTube since 2007 and actively investigating since 2015, took to his channel to share what he found after pulling out a magnifier and going frame by frame through his old footage. What he uncovered has him convinced that the population at this particular WMA is in the thousands, not the dozens he originally estimated. Walking down a gas pipeline right-of-way, Jones captured footage that, to the naked eye, looks like just trees, brush, and shadows. But once he cranked the magnification up to 550x and adjusted the contrast, the woods came alive. Faces appeared in the undergrowth. Conical heads peeked out from behind branches. Hands reached up near faces. Eyes caught the light. Some figures appeared to be lying on the ground, others kneeling, and a few even seemed to be holding each other back or shielding their faces from view. One of the most striking moments in the video shows what Jones describes as a figure that got brave enough to step out of the tree line, with the whiteness of its face clearly visible. Another shows a small one, possibly a juvenile, poking its head up from the ground cover. Jones points out that not all of them have the conical head shape that people often associate with Sasquatch, noting that some have rounder foreheads with hair visible. What makes this footage particularly interesting is the methodology. Jones isn't just pointing at blurry blobs and calling them Sasquatch. He's showing viewers exactly how to replicate his findings. He encourages anyone serious about the subject to download his original, unedited videos, slow them down using the playback speed settings, and go frame by frame. His logic is simple: if the camera isn't moving but something in the frame shifts between frames, then something moved. That's hard to argue with. The location itself sounds like prime Sasquatch habitat. Jones describes a boggy, creek-like area with thick vegetation on both sides of the pipeline corridor, providing ample cover for creatures that prefer to stay hidden. He estimates they may be sleeping or resting in a 10-acre area or larger, and he's only exploring a small portion of the total range. He even goes so far as to suggest there are more Sasquatch in this WMA than there are people in the surrounding counties. One thing that stands out about Jones is his frustration with skeptics who dismiss the existence of Sasquatch without ever actually looking at the evidence. He points out that anyone with a YouTube account can click on a commenter's profile icon and be taken directly to his channel, yet people still ask him where to find his content. He doesn't hold back when calling out what he sees as lazy criticism, though his passion for the subject clearly outweighs any bitterness. He's also quick to clarify that he's not in this for money. There's no donation button, no merchandise, no Patreon. He's got 536 subscribers and over 300 videos with fewer than 300 comments, and he says he doesn't care about the numbers. What he wants is for the right people to see the footage and help document what's really out there. With bow hunters set to move into the area in late March or early April, Jones says he plans to head back out once he gets his brakes fixed. He's hoping to capture more footage later in the afternoon when the Sasquatch are waking up and getting ready for their nightly activities, though he notes many may have already left to hunt by then. For anyone who's ever doubted that Sasquatch could exist in such numbers in a single location, this video is worth a careful watch. Jones doesn't just talk about what he's found. He shows it, explains how he found it, and invites others to verify it for themselves. That's about as transparent as fieldwork gets.
