Two 2008 Bigfoot Attacks Reported Across Canadian Maritimes

I just stumbled across something that gave me chills, and I had to share it with everyone here. A YouTube channel dedicated to Sasquatch research recently shared two absolutely hair-raising encounter reports that both happened in 2008, and the similarities between them are uncanny. If you love reading firsthand witness accounts, you're going to want to check this one out.
The first report comes from a man named Eric, who was living in Nova Scotia at the time. In September 2008, Eric and his family traveled to a secluded house near Card Lake Provincial Park after his grandfather passed away. The property was surrounded by broken branches and scattered animal bones, which immediately struck them as odd. The next morning, while sitting in the front yard, Eric got pelted with a small rock, then a larger one the size of an apple. When he looked toward the tree line, he saw a massive face peering out from between two thick trees. He describes it as having black eyes, light skin, a wide nose, a thin mouth, and grayish-white hair. The moment he stood up, the creature vanished into the woods.
Things escalated quickly. When the family stepped outside, the creature charged them. Eric's father fired a .308 rifle and hit it in the left shoulder. The creature screamed and fled. The family described it as over 10 feet tall, bulky, covered head to toe in grayish-white fur, with sharp canines and no visible ears. They later sold the property and never returned.
The second report is from Maurice, a 57-year-old Texan who visited New Brunswick in 2008 with his grandchildren. While picnicking at Mount Carlton Park, his 8-year-old grandson Billy spotted something in the bushes and insisted it was a gorilla. When Maurice approached, a giant furry creature emerged, walking on all fours but with a perfectly straight back. He estimates it was about 6'4" on all fours, with a skull larger than his own, extremely wide shoulders, and apish features. When it stood up, it towered over the smaller trees, easily 12 feet tall. The creature followed Maurice back to the van and even chased their vehicle on all fours at over 30 mph for two minutes before vanishing into the woods.
What really got me about these two reports is how closely they align. Both happened in September 2008, both involved giant grayish creatures over 10 feet tall with man-like features, and both occurred in Nova Scotia or New Brunswick. The channel's host even pointed out the connection between the two, suggesting these might have been sightings of the same individual or related family group roaming that region.
For anyone interested in Eastern Sasquatch reports, this is a must-watch. The descriptions match what witnesses often describe when encountering what some call the "Genaqua," a giant Eastern variation of Sasquatch said to roam the northeastern woodlands. The size, the grayish coloration, the aggressive defensive behavior when feeling threatened, it all fits the pattern of reports that have come out of that part of Canada for decades.
I won't spoil all the details because the host does a great job breaking down both encounters and offering his own analysis. Definitely worth checking out if you're into witness testimony from credible everyday people who had no reason to make something like this up. These are the kinds of reports that remind us why people keep going back into those woods, and why so many researchers refuse to dismiss this phenomenon.
