Three more incredible witness accounts have surfaced, and this latest round of stories is one you won't want to scroll past. A recent upload on YouTube from the channel The Facts By Howtohunt features host Steve reading through a handful of submitted Sasquatch encounters that span decades and cross multiple states. From a terrified Marine in 1975 Georgia to a hunter frozen in his tracks on a Missouri ridge, these testimonies carry the kind of raw, unfiltered fear that makes you check the locks on your door twice. The first story comes from Tony, a Marine Corps veteran from Thomas, Georgia. Back in 1975, just after leaving the service, Tony and two friends decided to crash a girls' sleepover at a place called Camp Thunder. Armed with nothing but a knife and a belt buckle, the three young men walked down a dirt road toward the cabin when they heard something heavy moving through the woods. Limbs were snapping like twigs. Two of his buddies bolted, but Tony held his ground long enough to lock eyes with the figure for about 15 seconds. He describes it as taller and more muscular than his own brother, who stood 6'4" and weighed 230 pounds. Tony says the creature made his brother look skinny. The fear from that night never left him, and he still carries a rifle into the woods to this day. That kind of lasting psychological impact is something researchers have documented repeatedly among witnesses, particularly those who served in the military and are trained to remain calm under pressure. The second account comes from Jake, a 30-year-old hunter who has been fishing and hunting on his parents' land about an hour north of Kansas City, Missouri since he was a kid. During the November rifle season in 2015, he was making his predawn walk to an elevated deer blind built at the base of a steep rocky cliff. About 10 minutes into his 30-minute hike, he caught a strong smell of wet dog mixed with something he describes as spent fireworks. That unusual odor is one of the most commonly reported indicators in Sasquatch encounters, often described as a pungent, skunky, or even fecal-like smell that doesn't match any known animal in the area. Jake felt something bounce off his backpack, turned around, and saw nothing. Then every hair on his neck stood up. Looking up the cliff face, he spotted a shadow so massive he initially mistook it for a boulder until it moved. He estimates the silhouette stood 9 to 10 feet tall. Frozen in place, he finally bolted past his stand, across a bean field, and up the road back to his truck. The walk that should've taken 30 minutes took over an hour. When he finally reached his vehicle, his side mirror had been ripped off. His parents chalked it up to him driving in the dark, but Jake knows what he saw, what he smelled, and what he felt. The third and most harrowing story comes from Tim, who has been documenting his experiences since 1972. His first encounter happened at age 11 while camping with his uncle and cousins on his grandparents' farm in northern Mississippi. Around 1:30 in the morning, something large began circling their tent. The full moon revealed a huge bipedal shadow passing by. The creature pressed its hand against the tent multiple times. On its final pass, it stopped at an open mesh window at the back of the tent. When it heard the kids whispering about the open window, it let out a low, deep growl and stood perfectly still. As Tim's uncle tried to zip the window shut, the creature thrust both hands through the screen mesh. Then it grabbed Tim by his sleeping bag and tried to lift him out through the window. The screaming and fighting caused it to drop him and retreat toward the woods. Tim mentions a similar incident years later at Land Between the Lakes WMA along the Tennessee-Kentucky border, where something circled his tent and its shadow filled the entire doorway. He believes the Mississippi encounter involved what he refers to as a dog-faced being, a term used by some researchers to describe a more canine-featured cryptid reported in certain regions of the country. These three accounts together cover a wide geographic range and span nearly five decades, yet they share common threads: heavy footsteps breaking thick limbs, overwhelming fear that lingers for a lifetime, unusual smells, and physical evidence like broken mirrors or torn screens. For anyone collecting witness data, this kind of consistency across unrelated testimonies is exactly what keeps the research alive. Definitely worth checking out the full video to hear Steve read these stories in his own words. The pacing and his reactions add another layer to an already chilling set of encounters.
