A chilling account of a possible Sasquatch encounter has surfaced on YouTube, and I couldn't help but share it with our fellow Bigfoot believers. The video, posted by the YouTube channel Woodsman, features a 22-year army veteran who goes by the name of Rick. Rick, a former infantry Scout with a specialty in reconnaissance, shares his harrowing experience from 1996 during a joint training exercise at Fort Lewis. According to Rick, his unit was tasked with engaging other units in various missions, some of which involved simulating terrorist activities with fake suicide bomb vests. However, it was the nighttime mission that took an unexpected turn when they heard small arms fire and a loud roar that Rick describes as "much louder than a lion's roar" and "something you could feel." As Rick and his team cautiously approached the source of the noise, they stumbled upon two Sasquatch, one of which was obviously deceased, while the other was a female, breathing heavily and spitting out blood. The men who were present identified themselves as Delta Force and took Rick and his team's weapons and night vision goggles. Rick describes the Delta Force members' equipment as not standard issue and their hockey helmets as a giveaway that they were part of an elite unit. The Delta Force captain gave Rick and his team a stern warning not to speak of the incident and threatened them with consequences if they did. Rick and his team were then moved down the hill, and the Delta Force began prepping the Sasquatch for extraction via a Blackhawk helicopter. The video is a chilling reminder of the mysterious and elusive nature of Sasquatch, and it's always exciting to hear firsthand accounts of possible encounters. While we cannot confirm the validity of Rick's story, it's always intriguing to hear about experiences that challenge our understanding of what's out there. And as always, keep your eyes and ears open and your cameras ready, who knows what you might encounter in the great outdoors.
