Bigfoot art is a fascinating way to explore the world of Sasquatch, and one artist in particular has been using his talents to bring the creature to life. Robroy Menzies, owner and operator of the Bigfoot Art Gallery in Palmer, Alaska, is not only an artist but also a researcher who has been drawing Bigfoot for over two decades. He was recently featured on the Cryptid Wilderness Research podcast, where he discussed his artwork and the process behind creating it. During the podcast, Menzies talked about how he started drawing Bigfoot in the mid-90s and how he wanted to learn what they looked like by drawing forensically from eyewitness accounts. He mentioned that he would pay attention to details like the nose, which he found to be more human-like than ape-like in many cases. Menzies also discussed how he would use his artwork to create a more complete image of Bigfoot, which he found to be more intriguing than just a poor drawing of an ape. One of the pieces that Menzies discussed during the podcast was a drawing he called "The Fisherman." He explained that he was inspired to create the piece after hearing an eyewitness on Coast to Coast with Art Bell talk about seeing a Bigfoot in a lake, seemingly fishing. The drawing features a Bigfoot standing in a foggy lake, with the full moon shining down on it. Menzies also talked about how he sells prints of his artwork at his gallery and how interested parties can contact him through his website, Facebook, or by calling the gallery directly. He mentioned that he can print out any of his pieces in various sizes, with the most common size being eight by ten. I am always excited to learn about new artwork and research related to Sasquatch. Menzies' dedication to creating accurate and intriguing images of Bigfoot is inspiring, and his artwork is a valuable contribution to the world of Bigfoot research. If you're ever in Palmer, Alaska, be sure to stop by the Bigfoot Art Gallery and check out Menzies' work in person.
