The woman initially thought the creature was a person dressed in a gorilla suit, but upon closer inspection, she realized it was a real creature. Another aggressive Yowie was filmed in December 2010, showing hostility towards the witness. The creature appears to be stomping its feet and making an aggressive display towards them before they decided to run. The video also includes footage of a Yowie jumping out of a tree and moving like lightning, reminiscent of a Sasquatch encounter captured on camera in the Pacific Northwest. Matthew Taylor, a Yowie researcher, writes about his own encounter in October 2019, where he saw a Yowie jump out of a tree and move with incredible speed. He describes the creature as having jet-black, shiny fur, and moving with a grace that belies its size. The video also includes a bonus clip of a Bigfoot jumping from a tree in the Pacific Northwest, captured on Snapchat. The creature can be seen leaping 20-30 feet from a tree and sprinting out of sight in just a few seconds.
