Throughout the night, the family was terrorized, feeling as though their lives were in danger. They could not leave during the day due to recent snowfall, making the roads treacherous. In the end, they decided to remain silent if the creatures returned, hoping that it would be interpreted as a sign of strength instead of weakness. The following morning, Gary checked the road and believed it was improving, giving them hope that they could leave the next day. The family was left deeply shaken by the experience, and it was clear that the creatures had marked their territory.
