New Rock County Bigfoot Sightings: Couple and Motorists Describe Encounter

Bigfoot sightings are always a thrill to hear about, and this video from the YouTube channel "From Beyond" shares some truly chilling encounters. The first story comes from Lenny and Stacy Fus, who were driving on Mcord Road in Rock County, Wisconsin in 2005. As they were enjoying the scenic route, they noticed a farmer with every light on his tractor ablaze, even though the sun was still shining. As they continued on, they saw something tall and dark emerge from the trees and onto the road. Lenny initially thought it might be an animal or a person, but as they got closer, he realized it was neither. He described it as upright, medium brown in color, and weighing at least 350 pounds. Stacy had seen it too, and both of them felt the hair rise on their arms and the backs of their necks. They were certain they had just seen a Bigfoot. The video also shares other sightings from the area, including one from a student in 1999 who saw a tall, dark, and hairy creature by the side of the highway, and another from a Chicago computer salesman named Joe who saw a 7-foot, 400-pound creature walking through a ditch in 1999. These stories, along with others from the 1960s and 1970s, all point to the possibility of Bigfoot living in the wild swamp area of Lima Marsh. The video also features an interview with Don and Peggy Avery, who began their Sasquatch experiences as the result of an avid interest in gold rushes of the 19th century. Don's interest in dowsing led him to a rich gold ledge in Snake River, and he eventually filed a mining claim in the area. In 1996, while staying at a nearby town, Don heard a guttural snarling sound coming from a short but steep embankment above the road. He stayed put, watching and listening for several minutes, before realizing that whatever it was, it was trying to intimidate him.
