A new podcast has hit the scene, and it's already making waves! The Cryptid Podcast, hosted by Daniel, recently aired its very first episode, and it's definitely worth a listen for any Bigfoot enthusiast. Daniel's first guest on the show is none other than Josh Smith, a fellow Bigfoot researcher and investigator.
During the episode, Josh shares his personal encounter with a Bigfoot when he was just 14 years old. Growing up in a rural community near the National Forest in Arkansas, Josh had always been surrounded by nature and wildlife. But one night, while home alone, he had an experience that would change his life forever.
As Josh was walking from the kitchen to the living room, he noticed something strange out of the corner of his eye. A black figure was emerging from the tree line behind his house, and it was huge - at least 8 or 9 feet tall. Josh was terrified, but he couldn't tear his eyes away from the creature. He describes it as having broad shoulders and being as big as a linebacker, if not bigger.
Despite his fear, Josh's first instinct was to grab his father's 410 shotgun. The Bigfoot didn't seem to be afraid of him, and it just stood there, staring at him. Josh loaded the shotgun, and as soon as he did, the creature slowly turned and disappeared back into the tree line.
Josh kept this encounter to himself, not telling anyone - not even his parents. But years later, when he had his third Bigfoot encounter, all the memories came flooding back. He realized that this initial encounter had a profound effect on him, changing the way he looked at the woods and nature.
As a fellow Bigfoot researcher, I can relate to Josh's experience. Encounters with these creatures can be both terrifying and awe-inspiring, and they often leave a lasting impact on those who experience them.
If you're interested in hearing more about Josh's encounter, be sure to check out The Cryptid Podcast's first episode. It's a fascinating listen, and I can't wait to see what Daniel and his guests have in store for future episodes.
