1997 Lake Chalan Sighting & Fort Lewis Bigfoot Encounter: Witness Accounts

A thrilling account of a possible Sasquatch encounter has been shared on the YouTube channel Remote Cabin Radio. The channel, which features stories and discussions about the paranormal and unexplained, posted a video titled "Bigfoot Cruise 2024: Casual Cryptid Conversation with Remote Cabin Radio." In the video, a guest shares his personal experience from 1997, when he and his friends were driving near Lake Chalan in Washington. As they were coming around a corner, they saw a "cinnamon brown" creature on all fours, staring right at them. The creature, which the witness describes as looking "freaked out," quickly disappeared after the vehicle passed. The witness, a commercial diver, goes on to share another encounter he had while serving in the Washington National Guard in 2007. During a ruck march at Fort Lewis, he was chosen for fire guard duty and heard what he believes was the sound of a Sasquatch walking in the woods. As he tried to locate the source of the sound, he saw branches moving at a height of 7 or 8 feet, leading him to believe that the creature was bipedal. These stories are certainly intriguing and add to the growing body of anecdotal evidence suggesting the existence of Sasquatch.
