The friend didn't see it, but a year later, the witness found three trees broken off near his cabin at about 6-6.5 feet high. This discovery reminded him of a special he had seen on the Discovery Channel about similar tree breaks in Oregon. Next, we travel back in time to Sweetwater County, Wyoming, in the winter of 1890. A father and son went on a hunting expedition, but despite the snow, they didn't see any wildlife for five hours. As they left the woods, the father leaned on a tree and began to light his pipe when a large, hairy man appeared from the other side of the tree, about 15 feet away. The creature was approximately 7 feet tall, with black and gray hair and a face as black as coal. It looked like a man's face with a small mouth, and the hands were enormous. After a brief, tense moment, the creature walked away into the woods, followed by another, slightly smaller one. This encounter left a lasting impression on the family, who felt a mix of fear and sympathy for the mysterious being. Our final story takes us to the Georgian Bay Area of Ontario, Canada, in the summer of 1968. An 11-year-old girl was staying at her family's cottage on a Georgian Bay Island. One hot night, she went to bed with the windows open. As she lay there, she felt an intense sensation of being watched from behind. She looked towards the windows and saw a large, roundish head in the far left casement. There were no hands on the sill, and she had accidentally frightened the being, causing it to duck down and hit its head on the window. She ran to get her parents, but they dismissed it as a dream. As an adult, she remains cautious about sleeping with the windows open, and the memory of that night still makes her uneasy.
