Virginia Vacation: Boys' Encounter with Anita's Mysterious Woodland Friends

A fascinating story has recently surfaced on YouTube, and I couldn't help but share it with our fellow Bigfoot believers. The story comes from the YouTube channel Cryptids Canada and is titled "EPISODE 676 SHE WAS SAVED BY A BIGFOOT. THEN SHE SAVED THEM." The story takes place in the 1950s and is told from the perspective of the narrator's grandfather and his friend, who were both 13 years old at the time. They were invited to spend the summer with their eccentric Aunt Anita, who had recently built a house in the woods of Damascus, Virginia. Aunt Anita was known for her unusual friends, who were described as tall, hairy, and not particularly fond of bathing. The boys were initially frightened by these new acquaintances, but Aunt Anita assured them that they were kind and caring. As the story unfolds, we learn that Aunt Anita had a close encounter with the Bigfoots years ago when she stumbled upon them while looking for mushrooms. They took care of her when she broke her ankle and carried her back to safety. The story takes an interesting turn when Aunt Anita's new friends bring her gifts of fish and baked goods, and the boys get a closer look at the Bigfoots. They are described as being around 7 to 9 feet tall, with long, pendulous breasts on the female and a baby clinging to its mother's back. The boys are initially frightened, but Aunt Anita scolds them for their behavior and invites them to sit down and meet her friends properly. She explains that these beings have helped her and that they deserve respect. I find this story to be both intriguing and heartwarming. It's a reminder that Bigfoots are not just creatures to be feared, but beings with their own culture and social structure.
