A fascinating account of a close encounter with a Sasquatch has recently surfaced on the YouTube channel of Linda Eastburn. The video, titled "Bigfoot Eye to Eye," features an interview with Jim Meyers, owner of the Sasquatch Outpost in Bailey, Colorado.
In the video, Meyers shares his personal journey into the world of Sasquatch research, which began when he saw the movie "The Legend of Boggy Creek" as a child. He spent many years overseas before finally being able to pursue his interest in Sasquatch research when he moved back to the United States in 2009.
Meyers' passion for Sasquatch research led him to open the Sasquatch Outpost in 2013, which started as a grocery store but eventually became a full-fledged Sasquatch-themed store and museum. The museum, in particular, is taken very seriously by Meyers, who wants visitors to see it as an educational adventure.
One of the most interesting stories Meyers shares in the video is about a local woman who had a daytime sighting of a Sasquatch in May 2012. She and her best friend were walking on a forest service road when they heard a loud crack and saw a Sasquatch running down a hill towards them. The Sasquatch didn't look at them and disappeared into the trees, but the women were able to see it clearly and remember details such as its six-foot stride.
Meyers also shares a story about two men and a boy who were fishing in Missouri when they saw two adult Sasquatches and two juveniles playing in the water. The Sasquatches noticed the humans and left once they realized they were being observed.
The video is a must-watch for any Sasquatch enthusiast. Meyers' enthusiasm and passion for the subject are infectious, and his stories are both intriguing and educational. Be sure to check out the Sasquatch Outpost and museum if you're ever in Bailey, Colorado.
