A new video has recently caught my attention and I just had to share it with all of you fellow Bigfoot enthusiasts! The video features an interview with the cast and crew of a film called "Sasquatch Sunset," where they discuss their fascination with Sasquatch and the process of creating the movie. The interviewer asks the group about their thoughts on the existence of Sasquatch and it's clear that they all hope it's real. They talk about the appeal of Sasquatch as a link between humans and animals, and how it represents the ID or the unconscious desires of our species. The movie itself is a perfect encapsulation of this fascination, starting off with the creatures feeling othered and then becoming relatable and emotional. Jesse Eisenberg, who plays one of the Sasquatches in the film, admits that he wasn't particularly fascinated by Sasquatch before the project, but his interest grew as he read the script and learned more about the culture. He found the challenge of conveying emotion through makeup and gestures to be a real test. The cast and crew also mention that they did their research on Sasquatch customs and rituals, such as knocking on trees and building nests. They wanted to find a sweet spot between human and animal characteristics in their depiction of the creatures. One interesting aspect of the film is the range of human-like and animal-like characteristics among the Sasquatches. Eisenberg's character is more introspective and thoughtful, while Nathan's character is pure rage and aggression. This spectrum adds depth to the creatures and makes them more relatable. The film was shot in remote locations in the Redwoods of Northern California to give the Sasquatches a sense of naturalism. The crew was worried about being noticed by sightseers or hunters, but they managed to avoid detection. I found this video to be fascinating and it's definitely worth a watch. The cast and crew's enthusiasm for the subject matter is contagious and it's clear that they put a lot of thought and care into the film. I can't wait to see the final product! Excitement level: 7 out of 10.
