Chicago First Responder's Chilling Encounter with a Real-Life Bigfoot in Oregon

"I got a tingle of something was approaching... like you do if you're walking down a hallway and you reach the corner and someone else is coming around the corner, you know they're there but you haven't seen them yet," John recounts in the video. When John stopped and looked up, he saw a big male Sasquatch just 20 feet away from him. The creature was about 8 feet tall and weighed an estimated 800 pounds, with black hair all over and gray-black skin like a gorilla. It had a hooded nose and no facial hair, and John didn't detect any smell because it was raining and there was no wind. "I was so terrified... I froze and I couldn't move," John says. "It stood there swaying back and forth and didn't make any noise. After studying me for a little bit, it turned and walked away the way it came." John was left shaken by the encounter and ran home to tell his fiance, who thought it was funny. But for John, the experience was no laughing matter. He had never been so scared in his life. "I've never been so scared of anything in my life because it was two steps in, it could have been on top of me. It's definitely definitely well within charge range," John says. Despite the terrifying nature of the encounter, John says he would love to see a Bigfoot again if given the opportunity. He believes that the creature was avoiding confrontation rather than seeking it, as they are known to do in order to survive and stay hidden.
