A new video has surfaced on YouTube that is sure to pique the interest of Bigfoot enthusiasts. The video, posted by the channel BIGFOOT! / William Jevning, shares a fascinating story about a creature known as the "Speedway Monster" that is said to inhabit the desert regions of Southern California. According to the video, the first report of these creatures by European settlers came from Southern California in 1769. The Spanish priests who founded the first mission in San Diego were told about hairy Devils that lived nearby by local Gabrieleno Indians. These creatures were feared and avoided by the Indians, who called the area where they lived "Tais puki" or "Camp of the devil." The video goes on to describe several alleged encounters with the Speedway Monster, including a sighting in 1876 by a passenger on an Old Stage Coach Line. The passenger reported seeing a large naked, hairy thing watching him from behind some scruff. Several people met their demise at the site either strangled or beaten to death by an unknown person or thing, and the monster was blamed for the murders. In 1888, two local hunters set out to hunt down and kill the monster, and reportedly succeeded in doing so. However, the creature's body disappeared before it could be put on public display. The video also shares a report from 1939 of a prospector who was attacked by a large group of upright walking Apes as he camped near the BGO sink. The prospector described the creatures as very large, covered in white fur, and with glowing red eyes. More recent reports of the Speedway Monster have come from the BGO valley desert in California, where treasure hunters have whispered about the Abominable Sandman of BGO. In 1964, a man named Victor Stoan noticed large humanoid tracks in the sand dunes of the area, and made casts and photographs of them. The video also shares a story from 1968 about a young man named Harold Lancaster who encountered the Sandman while prospecting in the BGO sink. Lancaster described the creature as a real giant ape-man, and said that it had a head that was rather small with protruding teeth and powerful jaws. The Speedway Monster is said to be a large, hairy, upright-walking creature that is aggressive and threatening. It has been blamed for several murders and has been the subject of numerous sightings and encounters in the desert regions of Southern California.
