A harrowing tale of a close encounter with a Bigfoot has been shared on the YouTube channel Paranormal Page Turners. The video, titled "Escaping the Beast: Bigfoot Attack TRUE Survival Story," recounts the experience of a beekeeper in Western Massachusetts who claims to have shot and injured a Bigfoot that was destroying his hives. The man, who is not named in the video, describes how he set up a watch in a tree near his hives after they were damaged by what he believed to be a bear. However, he was in for a surprise when he shone his flashlight on the creature and realized it was not a bear, but a "big gorilla." He quickly fired his shotgun, hitting the creature twice before it disappeared into the darkness. The man's wife, who had heard the shots, came to check on him and called the police. When the authorities arrived, they searched the area but did not find any evidence of a bear or a Bigfoot. The man was told that it was illegal to hunt bears outside of hunting season, and if the creature was found to be a bear, he could lose his gun. Despite the skepticism of the police, the man is convinced that he shot a Bigfoot. He describes the creature as being about 10 feet tall and 5 or 6 feet wide at the shoulders, with muscles that were hard to describe. He also notes that the creature had bright yellow eyes and big white teeth. While the validity of this story is certainly open to interpretation, it is undeniable that the man's description of the creature is consistent with many other Bigfoot sightings. The idea of a Bigfoot protecting its territory from intruders is also a common theme in Bigfoot folklore. Regardless of whether or not you believe the man's story, it is always exciting to hear about new encounters with these elusive creatures.
