In a recent video posted on the YouTube channel Rocky Mountain Sasquatch, there is some fascinating footage of what appears to be a Bigfoot engaging in wood knocking behavior. The video, titled "Bigfoot Sightings on Video in the Rocky Mountains - Shown & Discussed," features Duke and his fellow investigator capturing what may be the first clear footage of a Bigfoot performing wood knocking. As Duke and his team are investigating a large suspect Bigfoot structure complex, a Bigfoot can be seen in the distance, watching the team through an opening in the thick brush. After doing a wood knock, the Bigfoot looks directly at Eric, one of the team members, giving viewers a brief glimpse of its domed head, eyes, massive brown ridge, and nose. The team has witnessed similar behavior at two different structures in the area, with logs being added to the structures and deadfall being used in the formation. While some skeptics claim that these structures are caused by windfall, the team disagrees, stating that the wind could not have picked up a 300 lb log and shoved it up into the tree with the rest of the structure formation. In addition to the wood knocking footage, the team has also documented a six-story tall X structure, which they have been visiting annually. After about a year and a half, the structure was deconstructed, and the team found that the trees that had been leaning against it were now all laying in a pile. They also found a smaller X structure turning into a teepee, with a 40ft Tall Pine Tree bent and under the structure. The team believes that these structures are territorial markers, with some Pacific Northwest Native tribes claiming that the Bigfoot put as many logs in them as there are members in the family or clan. The team has found that these structures are relatively uncommon compared to other types of structures, such as TPS or X structures or snaps. Overall, this video is an exciting addition to the world of Bigfoot research. The clear footage of a Bigfoot engaging in wood knocking behavior is a rare and fascinating sight, and the team's documentation of the structures in the area provides valuable insight into the behavior and territorial habits of these elusive creatures.
