Our first story takes us to the back roads of Decatur, Alabama, where a truck driver encountered something strange while on a delivery route. As he was driving along a two-lane highway, a large, black creature darted out of the woods and into the road, causing a nearby truck to swerve and hit it. The driver described the creature as having long arms and taking massive strides, crossing the road in what he estimated to be only 10 steps. He wasn't able to get a clear look at the creature's face, but he did notice that it was covered in hair and had a "balled up" appearance. Although he couldn't be sure what he saw, the driver couldn't shake the feeling that he had just encountered a Bigfoot. Our next story comes to us from Bath, New York, where a former Army Intel specialist had a strange encounter while smoking a cigarette outside his basement apartment. It was around 3:00 a.m. and the area was semi-rugged with forests and hills. As he was smoking, he noticed movement in the distance and saw a cinnamon brownish figure pacing back and forth near a clearcut. The figure appeared to be floating across the ground, and the witness couldn't see its lower legs due to the rising and falling of the ground. After pacing for several minutes, the creature suddenly disappeared. The witness was left feeling uneasy and unsure of what he had just seen. It wasn't until he did some research and found other reports of Bigfoot sightings in the area that he began to suspect that he may have had his own encounter with the elusive creature. Our final story takes us to the foothills of Mount Rainier in Ashford, Washington, where a group of campers had a strange encounter while on a hike. As they were walking along an old grade road, they noticed that twigs had been snapped at the same height and in the same direction, leading them to believe that something large and heavy had passed through the area. When they reached a clearing, they saw an old clearcut on one side of a ravine and a small creek running between two hillsides. As they were exploring the area, they heard a loud, guttural noise coming from the clearcut. The noise was so loud that it shook their bodies and left them feeling uneasy. They quickly gathered their belongings and left the area, but the memory of the strange noise has stayed with them to this day. These are just a few of the many Bigfoot sightings and encounters that have been reported across the country. While we may never know for sure what these witnesses saw, the consistency of their stories and the details they provide lend credence to the idea that there may be something strange and elusive lurking in the woods.
