Waterways: A Hidden Habitat for Cryptids? Have you ever considered that the numerous rivers and streams crisscrossing the UK might serve as more than just vital habitats for wildlife? Theorists suggest that these waterways could also be serving as green corridors for cryptids, allowing them to move around the country unseen. One such theorist, Deborah Hatswell of BBR Investigations, decided to put this theory to the test and share her findings in a recent video. Deborah started by randomly selecting four rivers from across the UK and looking for any cryptid sightings near them. One of the rivers she chose was the Dove, a principal river in the southwestern Peak District of England. Along this river, Deborah found a report from 2006 of a bipedal, gray creature that was approximately 7-9 feet tall. The witness saw the creature moving along the other side of a hedge, but when they reached the location, there were no signs of the creature or any logical explanation for what they had seen. Another interesting sighting Deborah found was near the River Trent, specifically in Molton. In this area, there have been multiple strange reports, including a "lumbering beast" seen by a man named Lee. While out for a walk early one morning, Lee heard a dog barking and felt as if something was following him. He later found out that a "bizarre beast" had been spotted in a nearby field the night before. This creature was described as a large, black figure with abnormal movements. These are just a few of the many cryptid sightings Deborah found near UK waterways. Could these rivers and streams be providing a hidden highway for cryptids to travel undetected? It's an intriguing theory worth considering. If you're interested in learning more, be sure to check out Deborah's video on the BBR Investigations YouTube channel.
