Native American Witness Captures Bigfoot Stalking Cows in New Mexico's Hayzee Mountains

A thrilling firsthand account of a possible Sasquatch encounter in the Hayzee Mountains has been shared on the YouTube channel, Backwoods Horror Stories. The witness, a Native American from a northern tribe, shares their experience of seeing a large, bipedal creature stalking a herd of cows while they were out pinon picking with their family. Growing up, the witness had heard stories about Giants living in the mountains, stealing women and eating children. These tales were meant to keep children from venturing out after dark, but the witness's own encounter has left them convinced that Sasquatch is real. While exploring the area, the witness saw a large figure moving between the trees, stalking the cows below. At first, they thought it was just a cow, but as they watched, they realized that this thing was walking upright and moving from tree to tree, always staying hidden behind the tree and shrubs for cover. The witness describes the creature as being the width of a cow when it was standing broadside, with shoulders, legs, and arms moving and swaying back and forth. They saw the head and realized how huge and tall this thing must have been. From the distance they were seeing it, they estimate that it was at least 250 to 300 yards away. As the witness watched, they heard a yell or scream coming from the direction that they had first spotted the figure. The cows, startled by the sound, booked it across the other side towards the direction where the truck had gone. The witness was frozen with fear as they watched the creature beeline in the direction that the sound had come from. After the encounter, the witness didn't tell anyone what they had experienced, but years later, they shared their story with their family and close friends. Now, they are a proud believer in Sasquatch and have even seen other vehicles around town with Sasquatch stickers on them. The Hayzee Mountains in Wilderness would be an ideal home for a Sasquatch, with plenty of small and big game, water resources, and an abundance of pinon nuts and berries.
