In a recent video from the Untold Radio Network's Sasquatch Outpost Podcast, episode 49, host talks with guest Sabilia Irban about her experiences at the Ericson Project in Crittenden, Kentucky. The Ericson Project was a five-year habituation project on a property that had a long history of Sasquatch activity.
Sabilia shares that after the project ended, she and her team were looking for property to continue the research and documentation of Sasquatch activity. When they discovered that the Ericson property was for sale, they jumped at the opportunity to purchase it. Sabilia moved onto the property and began recording audio and thermal video footage of her experiences.
Sabilia describes the property as being in a rural area of Kentucky with farmhouses nearby, but the Sasquatch would move through the hollows, or "hollers," which are thick with trees and undergrowth, making it easy for them to stay hidden. The house on the property is located close to the road, making it possible to capture footage of Sasquatch activity near the tree line.
Sabilia shares that the previous residents of the property, Adrian and her husband Roger, had been feeding the Sasquatch for years, and Sissy, Adrian's daughter, had her first encounter with a Sasquatch at the age of 5. The BFRO became involved when neighbors also began seeing the Sasquatch and reported their sightings.
During the Ericson project, significant footage was captured, including what some have claimed to be a Chewbacca mask. However, Sabilia and others argue that the level of education and background of the researchers makes it unlikely that they could have built such a convincing suit.
