A new video has been making the rounds in the Bigfoot community, and it's definitely worth a watch. The video, posted by Sean's Sasquatch Quest, follows the channel's host as he explores a potential Sasquatch habitat in the Pacific Northwest.
The host starts off by hiking over a mile up a trail and then off-trail for a quarter of a mile to search for secluded areas that might be suitable for Sasquatch. Along the way, he discovers a series of scrape marks in the dirt and leaf litter, which he believes were made by a cougar.
As he continues his hike, the host begins to hear low-pitched howl-like sounds in the distance. Over the course of 20 minutes, he hears seven to nine of these sounds, and he does a few wood knocks to try and elicit a response from any nearby Sasquatches. Unfortunately, he doesn't receive any responses.
However, the host is able to record the howl-like sounds on his audio recorder, and he reviews them on a spectrogram. He notes that the sounds are in the 400 to 600 Hz range. The host speculates that the sounds could have been made by a logging truck or some kind of howling animal, but he can't say for sure due to the distance and the faintness of the sounds.
Throughout the video, the host takes several panoramic landscape photos to document the habitat of the area. He also finds a plant species to photo document for identification. In this case, the species is trailing blackberry (Rubus ursinus).
The host notes that he will work on learning the nutritional and medicinal values of each species he identifies in the future. As the day comes to an end and the light begins to fade, the host makes his way back to the trail and then the trail head, concluding his search for the day.
Overall, this is a fascinating video that offers a glimpse into the world of Sasquatch research. The host's attention to detail and his willingness to explore off-trail areas make for compelling viewing. If you're interested in Sasquatch or just enjoy outdoor exploration, this video is definitely worth a watch.
