Friends Encounter Potential Bigfoot Near South Florida Burial Ground

A group of friends in South Florida had a chilling encounter with what they believe to be a Bigfoot-like creature while camping in the wilderness. The incident occurred in May 2019, when the friends heard strange noises that didn't sound like any native animals in the area. One of the friends, C, decided to record the noises on his phone. At approximately 11:00 p.m., two of the friends, G and the individual sharing the story, returned to the spot to collect some pallets they had left behind. C suggested they hang out and see if they could hear anything. Despite feeling creeped out, G and the storyteller agreed to sit in the truck for 20-30 minutes. During this time, they heard heavy stomping and brush moving approximately 30 yards from the truck. The sounds moved from the front left of the truck to the front right before becoming silent. All the bugs and frogs in the area stopped making noise, causing the three friends to become unnerved. As they decided to leave, C pulled out his firearm with a light on it and pointed it out the passenger window. Approximately 15 yards from the truck, they saw a bipedal creature covered in thick black hair with a white-gray patch on top of its head. All three friends were struck with immediate shock, and they quickly left the area. The following day, two of the friends returned to the site and found what looked like footprints in the sand, approximately where they had seen the creature. After speaking with people familiar with the area, they discovered that an Indian burial site was not too far from where they were camping. While some of the friends believe they encountered a paranormal entity, the individual sharing the story maintains that they saw a Bigfoot-like creature. In the weeks following the incident, they did some research and discovered that someone in the mid to late 2000s had seen something similar no more than a mile away from where they were camping.
