A thrilling account of a rock-throwing encounter with a possible Sasquatch has been shared on the YouTube channel BIGFOOT! / William Jevning. The video, titled "BIGFOOT! AMERICA'S CREEK DEVIL | Bigfoot and Cody in Washington" (Episode 260), features two-time witness and field researcher William Jevning, along with his guest, Cody, who shares his own experiences with the mysterious creature.
Cody, an avid hunter with over 25 years of experience, has had several inexplicable encounters in the Pacific Northwest. In this particular episode, he focuses on three events, one of which involves a rock being thrown at him and his friend Megan.
In August 2012, Cody and Megan were sitting on the tailgate of Cody's truck, enjoying a quiet summer night in a secluded spot near Abery Creek, west of Long View. Suddenly, a rock, estimated to be the size of a watermelon, came flying out of the woods and landed next to them with a loud thud. The impact was so strong that Cody felt it in his chest. There were no signs of animals or falling rocks in the area, leaving Cody and Megan to wonder if the rock was deliberately thrown by an unseen presence.
Cody shares his thoughts on the possible culprit, mentioning that he has heard similar stories of rocks being thrown at people in the woods. He also points out that the area is not easily accessible, making it unlikely that someone would be throwing rocks at them.
I find Cody's account intriguing and reminiscent of other rock-throwing incidents reported by Sasquatch witnesses. The intimidation tactic described in the video is consistent with the behavior some witnesses have attributed to the elusive creature.
