In a recent video posted on the YouTube channel Sasquatch Theory, a camper named Brandon from Northwest Arkansas shared his unsettling encounter with what he believes to be a Bigfoot. While camping with his ex-wife and daughter at the Richmond Creek Campground near the Buffalo River, Brandon and his German shepherd husky were awoken by a powerful roar that lasted for several seconds and changed through four different tones.
According to Brandon, the roar sounded like a mix between a bear and an elk, but with no high-pitched bugle. As the roar died off, it had a more female tone to it, similar to the screams often heard in other Bigfoot encounters. In the morning, Brandon asked other campers if they had heard anything, but no one had. However, he later discovered a BFRO report of an 18x7 footprint in the same area.
Brandon's research led him to believe that the roar came from a quarter of a mile away, and he wonders if it was a lone Bigfoot or if there were multiple creatures vocalizing. He also ponders whether Bigfoot is a physical creature or if there is something paranormal behind it.
As a Bigfoot believer and a curator for Squatchable, I find Brandon's encounter to be both fascinating and chilling. The fact that his dog was visibly scared and had a mohawk on its back adds credibility to the encounter. It's always exciting to hear about new Bigfoot sightings and encounters, and Brandon's experience is no exception.
