A thrilling account of an up-close encounter with a Sasquatch family has been shared on the YouTube channel, Not So Perfect Bigfoot Show. The video, titled "What Legends are made of " Thom Cantrall Part 2," features Thom Cantrall, a seasoned timber cutter, who recounts his unforgettable experience in the Blue Creek Canyon, near Bluff Creek, where the famous Patty footage was captured.
During his time working on the California-Oregon border, Thom found himself in a unique situation. He was tasked with leading the Cutting Crew instead of the road crew, as initially planned. This change led him to explore new territories, where he would eventually come across something extraordinary.
One day, while driving to a job site, Thom noticed a set of humanoid tracks crossing the road and leading down into the canyon. His initial thought was that the tracks belonged to a bear, but as he got closer, he realized they were not bear tracks. Intrigued, Thom decided to investigate further the next day.
After meeting with the forest service, Thom returned to the spot where he had seen the tracks. He parked his truck, grabbed his pack, and began tracking the Sasquatch family. Thom hiked all afternoon and eventually set up camp in a large, hollow tree stump near Blue Creek Canyon.
As darkness fell, Thom heard a series of howls echoing through the canyon. A male, female, and young Sasquatch were approaching his campsite, engaging in a conversation of sorts. Thom believes that the young Sasquatch was attempting to communicate with him using a series of clicks and chirps, similar to those recorded on Ron Morehead's Sierra Sound tapes.
Thom and the young Sasquatch shared a special connection that night. The young one would run up to the tree stump, wrap a stick around it, and then retreat, only to return and do it again. This playful interaction continued until Thom finally fell asleep a few hours before daylight.
When Thom awoke, the Sasquatch family was gone, but their tracks remained. He packed up his belongings and hiked back to civilization, forever changed by his encounter with these magnificent beings.
This captivating story is a must-watch for any Bigfoot enthusiast. Thom's account provides a rare, intimate look into the world of Sasquatches and their potential attempts at communication.
