A fascinating account of a possible Bigfoot encounter in Massachusetts has been brought to our attention, and we couldn’t be more excited to share it with you. The testimony comes from a viewer who submitted their 1976 experience to the YouTube channel GIS Bigfoot Answers.
The witness, a Native American woman, was camping with her husband and their German Shepherd at Granville Gorge. As they were “roughing it,” she was teaching her husband how to see in the dark with just a small oil lantern. The couple then heard thumping sounds and were struck by a terrible odor. Suddenly, a creature punched their tent, causing her husband to go outside and check on their canine companion. He returned, assuring his wife that it was just a “poite creature” – a term sometimes used to describe Bigfoot.
Terrified for her family’s safety, the woman insisted they leave the area. In the morning, her husband asked if she wanted to stay another night, but she refused, stating that another night in the creature’s territory would be dangerous, as she had three babies to get home to.
The YouTube channel host took us on a virtual tour of the area using Google Street View, highlighting the dense woods and the proximity of nearby homes. The location appears to be an ideal setting for a sasquatch encounter, with lush greenery and a creek running through the gorge.
While we can’t confirm the validity of this account, it’s always intriguing to hear about possible Bigfoot sightings from different parts of the country. We encourage our readers to watch the video and share their thoughts on this fascinating testimony.
As Bigfoot believers, we remain open to all possibilities and are grateful for viewers who share their encounters with us. Remember, every sighting brings us one step closer to understanding the mysterious world of Bigfoot. Happy squatching!
