As they were walking, they noticed an old church with a cemetery behind it, featuring graves from the 1980s and beyond. It was as they were walking down a dirt lane that they felt like they were being watched. The witness heard something sprinting across the top of a hill away from them, followed by the sound of a large branch or small tree breaking. They then heard faint, calculated steps around the crest of the hilltop, and that's when they saw it - the upper half of a head, the same color as the two pines it was hiding behind. The eyes were black as coal, and the eye size was that of a 50 cent piece and about 5 inches apart. The witness immediately thought, "that has got to be a Bigfoot." The witness then heard a minor disturbance in the leaves and the encounter was over. They had no recollection of this event until several years later, when reading someone else's encounter shook loose their repressed memory.
