In a fascinating video from the YouTube channel Paranormal Portal, host BR Thomas interviews Michael Thompson, founder and admin of Sasquatch Tracker and a seasoned cryptozoologist with over 40 years of research in Idaho and Alaska. Thompson shares his journey into the world of Sasquatch research, which began when he was a child growing up in Illinois and Idaho.
Thompson's interest in Sasquatch was sparked by the movies he saw at the theater, such as "Legend of Boggy Creek" and "Mysterious Monsters." He was also heavily influenced by his father's love of camping and the outdoors. Thompson's research really took off in college, when he attempted to conduct scientific studies in Canada but was turned away due to a lack of a nonimmigrant Visa. This led him to focus on researching Sasquatch in Idaho and later in Alaska, where he was stationed in the military.
Thompson discusses the different types of Sasquatch that he has encountered in his research, including the Neo Giants, which are six to nine feet tall with tracks 12 to 20 inches long, and the True Giants, which are 12 to 20 feet tall and have four toes. He also mentions the Markanids, which are man-sized, around 6.5 to 7 feet tall, and have a contrasting patch of hair on their arms or head.
Thompson's research and knowledge of Sasquatch is vast and he shares his experiences and insights in a captivating way. He is a valuable resource for anyone interested in learning more about Sasquatch and the world of cryptozoology.
