Bigfoot Encounter in 1829: Share Your Sighting Stories

In a recent video posted on Lisa’s Escapades YouTube channel, titled “Bigfoot Attack In The Okefenokee Swamp!”, Lisa shares an intriguing story about a supposed Bigfoot attack that occurred in the Okefenokee Swamp in Georgia, back in 1829. According to the video, two men and a boy had ventured deep into the swamp for a two-week exploration, when they stumbled upon gigantic footprints, measuring 18 inches long and 9 inches wide. The men, understandably spooked, decided to end their expedition and return home. However, a group of hunters from across the Florida line, eager to find the mysterious giant, followed the tracks and eventually came across a creature that measured 13 feet from head to toe. The men shot and killed the creature, but as they were inspecting its body, something roared and they fled the swamp in fear. Lisa mentions that this story is one of the earliest written accounts of the creature we now know as Bigfoot or Sasquatch, and that sightings and discoveries of large footprints continue to be reported in this area to this day. She also mentions that she plans to research this story further and visit the area herself. It’s always exciting to hear about new and old accounts of Bigfoot sightings and encounters, and this story is no exception. The idea of a group of men coming across a 13-foot tall creature in the wilderness is both fascinating and terrifying. While we can’t say for certain if this story is true, it’s always interesting to hear about the experiences and beliefs of others when it comes to the existence of Bigfoot.
