Bigfoot: History, Characteristics, and the BFRO Explored

A new video has recently surfaced on YouTube, posted by the channel Paranormal Haunting, that claims to show actual footage of Bigfoot. The video is titled "Actual Trail cam footage released 2024 - BIGFOOT IS REAL!" and it's definitely worth a watch for any Bigfoot enthusiast. The video starts off by giving a brief history of the Bigfoot legend, beginning with the story of Andrew Genzoli, a reporter for the Humboldt Times who published a letter from a reader about loggers in Northern California who had found huge tracks. Genzoli later admitted that he only found the story interesting because it made a good Sunday morning story, but much to his surprise, people found it fascinating. This sparked the beginning of the Bigfoot legend, with terms like "skookums" and "Mountain Devils" being used by pioneers and later non-native North American settlers. The video goes on to describe the physical attributes of Bigfoot, including its skin tones, which can range from gray to sunburn reddish brown, deep brown, and the darkest black or charcoal. Some albinistic Sasquatches with pink skin have also been seen. The video also mentions that the Sasquatch has hair all over its body instead of fur, and that the hair can be black or dark, red, reddish brown, gray, or white as the animals age. One of the most interesting parts of the video is when it discusses the BFRO, or Bigfoot Field Researchers Organization, which is a network of Bigfoot and Sasquatch researchers and investigators from all over the US and Canada who do it all for free. They are in charge of keeping an archive of accurate sightings and reports up to date. The video also mentions that Washington, California, and Florida lead the states currently in sightings in the United States, while British Columbia, Ontario, and Alberta provinces lead in Canada for sightings.
