Matt Hiryak, a dogman experiencer, and Timothy Renner, a researcher and writer for the fans of monsters 14 Research team, shared the details of Matt's sighting on the Phantoms & Monsters Radio YouTube channel. Matt and his 12-year-old daughter were fishing at Hay Creek when they observed a gruesome cryptid canine in the trees across the quarry from them. Matt describes the incident as a life-changing event and will share his story in detail. The sighting occurred on April 30, 2022, in the Birdsboro Preserve, an area that intersects with French Creek State Park. The forest is dense and covers approximately 15 to 20 square miles, making it one of the largest forest areas in Southeastern Pennsylvania. Matt and his daughter heard a sound that lasted for almost two minutes, which they described as sounding like a big dog or fur coming down over a tree. They heard the sound again, closer and longer than before, and Matt was startled as he had never heard anything like it in his life. As they continued fishing, they heard the sound a third time, closer still, and this time, they saw a 40-foot pine tree moving back and forth. Suddenly, a black thing flew out of the tree, and Matt saw something big and black moving in the trees.
