A new video has recently been brought to my attention, and I am thrilled to share it with my fellow Bigfoot enthusiasts. The video, posted by the YouTube channel Mid-West Bigfoot Researchers, takes us on an investigation of the Maher Audubon Sanctuary in Kent County, Michigan.
The investigator begins by giving us some background on the area, including its history and the local Bigfoot reports. The sanctuary is located in Southeastern Kent County, north of Barry County and next to Ionia County, close to Freeport, Michigan. The video was recorded on October 11, 2022, and the investigator uses two GoPro Hero cameras, one facing forward and one facing backwards.
As the investigator hikes through the sanctuary, they discuss the history of the area and the encounters and settings that are linked to it. The first 20 minutes of the video are dedicated to this, and the investigator shares their own childhood encounters in the area.
The middle 20 minutes of the video take an interesting turn when the investigator sees and smells something unusual. They go on to describe the smell as a putrid one, unlike anything they've ever encountered before. The smell changes and is strong enough to make them gag. They also mention hearing strange sounds in the woods.
The last 20 minutes of the video are dedicated to a DFRO report about an encounter that took place not far from the sanctuary. The report is of a strange and unusual encounter that could be linked to all the investigator's encounters in the area.
I find this video to be fascinating and it definitely piqued my interest. The investigator's description of the smell and the sounds they heard in the woods are particularly intriguing. I highly recommend checking out the video for yourself and forming your own opinion. Who knows, it might just make you a believer too!
As a side note, I would like to mention that the Maher Audubon Sanctuary has a rich history, and it's not far from the Caledonia Sportsman Club, which was put up in 1978 to drive the Sasquatch out. The land that the sanctuary is on was given up by the same person in the same year as the Caledonia Sportsman Club, which makes me wonder if there's a connection.
Overall, I am excited to have come across this video and I am looking forward to seeing what other investigations the Mid-West Bigfoot Researchers team will bring to us in the future.
