In a recent video from The Paranormal Network, titled "Ghosts of Barkerville: The Dead Speak," some intriguing evidence of the supernatural was uncovered. The video follows a group of paranormal investigators as they explore the historic town of Barkerville, British Columbia, which is known for its rich gold rush history and numerous ghost sightings. During their investigation, the team visited the Richfield Courthouse, which was the first town established on Williams Creek. The original courthouse burned down and was replaced with a reproduction in the 1960s. The circuit judges held their trials in this building, and it is said to be haunted by the ghost of Judge Matthew Bailey, who was known as the "hanging judge." As the team was conducting an EVP (electronic voice phenomena) session in the courthouse, they captured a voice that said "go away" in a man's voice. This was particularly interesting because one of the phrases that Tim Sutherland, a staff member who used to dress up as Judge Bailey, would say to visitors was "go away." Unfortunately, Tim had passed away a few years prior to the investigation. The team was hesitant to share this evidence with Michelle, a close friend of Tim's, as they didn't want to upset her. However, Michelle confirmed that the voice was indeed Tim's and that it was something that he would say to people visiting the courthouse. The team also visited the post office, where Michelle had previously seen a figure inside a locker room. They shared an EVP with her, which made her trip worthwhile despite the long drive, wet and cold conditions. Overall, the video provides some compelling evidence of the paranormal and highlights the rich history of Barkerville. It's always exciting to see new evidence of the supernatural, and this video is no exception. If you're a fan of paranormal investigations or ghost sightings, this video is definitely worth checking out.
