A well-known figure in the Bigfoot community, David Paulides of the Canam Missing Project, recently shared a chilling experience on his YouTube channel. In a video titled "Bigfoot 101, Class 3," Paulides discussed the threats he has received while conducting his research, which has led him to take extra precautions for his safety and that of his colleagues. Paulides has been invited to speak at various Bigfoot conferences, including one in Kelso, Washington, where he received a death threat. Despite the conference organizers' assurance of his safety during the event, Paulides made the decision not to attend due to concerns for his safety outside of the conference. He has since attended another conference in Washington with armed protection and will be returning to Kelso with police officers present. The threats Paulides has received are a result of his research and the uncomfortable facts he brings to light. He believes that some individuals in the Bigfoot community do not want to hear these facts and will resort to threats and violence to silence him. Despite these challenges, Paulides remains committed to his research and has even started his own DNA study. The results of this study have led him to believe that Bigfoot is a human hybrid, with half of its DNA being of unknown origin. Paulides also discussed the importance of reading older books on the subject, as they are less tainted by modern opinions. He mentioned the Nehalem Tillamook Tales and the story of a wild man who used fire and abducted people in their sleep. This story, along with others, suggests that Bigfoot may have used fire hundreds of years ago and learned over time that it could lead to their discovery. Paulides also mentioned the book "Nine Years with the Spokane Indians" and the belief among natives in a race of giants that inhabit a certain mountain. These giants, known as Steelers, hunt and do all their work at night and can take people without them ever awakening. Despite the challenges and threats he has faced, Paulides remains dedicated to his research and encourages others to conduct their own DNA studies. He is a true believer in the existence of Bigfoot and is committed to uncovering the truth about this elusive creature. It's unfortunate that Paulides has faced such threats and challenges in his research, but it's good to remember that the pursuit of knowledge often comes with obstacles. The Bigfoot community should support and uplift researchers like Paulides, rather than resorting to threats and violence.
